This vehicle is built at the plant located in Wuhu, Anhui province, in China. In the Asian nation, this model is marketed as the Tiggo 5X.

Interior design
The interior, in general, is very well maintained. The materials used offer a better perceived quality. The top of the board has padded surfaces; in the middle it has a wide shiny plastic molding and below it has hard plastics. It also has chrome inserts on the doors, the center console and the edges of the air vents.
Likewise, the steering wheel is slightly straight up to better appreciate the dashboard. In turn, the tachometer has the particularity of going against the hands of the clock.

The Chery Tiggo 4 has two engines. One has a 2.0-liter Acteco naturally aspirated engine, with 16 dual variable valve timing (DVVT), which is capable of achieving a power of 121 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and a torque of 180 Nm at 4,000 rpm. In addition, it connects to a five-speed mechanics.
The other version has a 1.5-liter Acteco turbocharged engine with 16 valves that reaches a power of 145 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and a torque of 210 Nm between 1,750 and 4,000 revolutions.
In both cases the traction comes from the front axle and they have a McPherson type suspension in the front and an independent Multi-Link rear. In turn, the steering is hydraulic and the brakes are ventilated disc on the front wheels and solid disc on the rear, which have anti-lock assistance and electronic brake distribution.
